Master Welder/Pipe Fitter
Course Description
The Master Welder/Pipe Fitter course was developed for individuals seeking the benefits of our 2 original courses; the "Journeyman Pipe Fitter/Pipe Welder" and the "Production Welding Specialist", by enrolling in one single course. This course provides welding instruction in Shielded Metal Arc, Flux Cored Arc, Gas Metal Arc, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding processes. Welding exercises will be completed on both mild and stainless steel; on both plate and pipe. In addition, students will receive instruction in pipe fitting that will compliment their welding skills. Other course topics include: blueprint reading, rigging, safety, weld repair, power source electrical overview, geometric design & tolerances, and tool & equipment operation. This course provides over 990 hours of instruction covered in 33 weeks. Graduates can expect to secure employment opportunities with employers using any manual welding processes.
