The faculty at National Pipe Trades have over 85 years of “real world” experience as welders in the construction, manufacturing, metal fabrication, pressure vessel fabrication and maintenance & repair fields. When considering a career in these fields, who you choose to educate you for that career can be the most important choice you make. Our Faculty

 

Mark Miller- Mark worked for over 20 years with All-Tri-R General Contractor prior to

coming to National Pipe Trades. He began his welding career building mining equipment and then became a Pipe Welder/Pipe Fitter, working his way into the ranks of supervision becoming an area superintendent. Mark is well acquainted with the skills required to become a welder and has spent much of his career passing those skills onto other workers. While working for All-Tri-R, Mark became a certified welder and also served as site safety trainer. Mark has been with National Pipe Trades since its inception.

 

Ron Miller- Ron was employed as a welder for Mason Manufacturing before moving into the pipe welding/pipe fitting field where he worked for All-Tri-R General Contractor, becoming a general foreman. He has been in welding for over 20 years training countless workers the skills required for a career as a welder. Ron is also a certified welder having participated in the construction of numerous projects involving pressure vessels and high pressure piping.   

 

 

Tony Miller- Tony has11 years experience in the Pipe Fitter/Welder with All-Tri R General Contractors where he reached the supervisor position.  He also has 6 years experience as a boilermaker with Kopetz Manufacturing fitting and welding pressure vessels. Tony has held several welder certifications in his Pipe fitting and vessel fabrication career.  Tony is certified to instruct the 30 Hour General Industry Safety Course.  Tony is now employed as a full time employee with National Pipe Trades.

  

Bob Fandel- Bob has been in the welding field for over 20 years. He is experienced in tank & pressure vessel fabrication, pipe welding, and pipe fitting. Bob has been a pipe fitter supervisor and received multiple welder certifications during his career and has provided many years of on-the-job training to many welders still employed in the field. Bob is also employed with Kopetz Manufacturing in addition to being an instructor with National Pipe Trades.

 

Tim McBee - Certified Welding Inspector

Tim has worked in the welding industry for over 18 years.  His experience includes 5 years as a pipefitter/welder, 4 years as a pipefitter/welder field foreman, 7 years as a Quality Control Inspector and is currently the Quality Control manager for All Tri-R, Inc.  Tim holds a CWI endorsement with the American Welding Society.

 

Paul Terrell - Completed 50 week Journeyman Weld Course.  The course consisted of SMAW (Stick) GTAW (Tig) FCAW and GMAW (Mig).  Instructed FCAW and GMAW for heavy mining equipment and is certified in - ISO - 9601-1 for 2 years at ICE.  Paul was also a production welder at Caterpillar for 9 months then began instructing Caterpillar employees in FCAW and GMAW, shop safety, weld symbols and blue print reading, weld repair geometric design and tolerances.  Paul also instructed in salvage welding SMAW also FCAW out of position welding.  He was STT welding certified in ISO - 9606-1 for 2 years with Caterpillar company.  Paul also instructed GSI employees in short circuit spray mode GMAW in all positions.  Paul joined National Pipe Trades August 28, 2007 and is instructing our night class Production Welding Specialist Course.
